second day of christmasOn the second day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me…An invitation to my daughters “Christmas Banquet”.  I had nothing to wear that fit me… so I left my coat on the whole time!

third day of christmasOn the third day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me…A trip to Cleveland to attend my other daughter, Kim’s “Christmas Banquet”.  I lugged a huge suitcase from Minnesota filled with Dutch items to help her decorate a Dutch Heritage table for the special night.

fourth day of christmas

On the fourth day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me…the realization that I had to get up in front of the women at this banquet and speak to them all about our Dutch Heritage…I still didn’t have anything to wear that fit me, but I couldn’t wear my coat either in front of everyone……BUMMER!

ten

On the tenth day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me…the opportunity to babysit my little granddaughter.  Our daughter-in-law was sick at home with the stomach flu…so we had our little Lucy for an overnight adventure.

elevenOn the eleventh day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me…a granddaughter who caught the stomach flu from her mother and so I was up every 25 minutes…all night long…cleaning up stomach flu!!!

twelve

On the twelfth day of Christmas my loved ones gave to me….well…actually the 12th day isn’t here yet.  We still have eight days left to Christmas.

But… I am starting to feel a bit queasy!!!!!!!

What I wouldn’t give for a partridge in a pear tree  right about now!
